Donna Cook, M.S.Marriage and Family Therapist

Ms. Cook is in the process of completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Fielding Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. She is uniquely qualified to evaluate and treat weight-loss surgery patients; she had a New Reflections surgery herself in April of 2001.

"When patients find out that I've had the surgery, I think it gives me a whole lot of credibility because I understand what they go through. I know what it's like not to be able to get up off the floor, I know what it's like to not be able to shop in the same stores that other people can shop in, and my patients say, 'Okay somebody finally understands what it's like.'"
